DevOps Engineer at Zeta Global

Nov, 2020 - Present

• Designed a reliable and highly available EKS cluster on AWS using Terraform for several development project teams, with a range of 10-150 worker nodes.

• Implemented an autoscaling solution for the EKS cluster to handle spikes in traffic, using cluster autoscaling for nodes and horizontal pod autoscaler for application deployments.

• Configured an autoscaling group with self-managed nodes, with a mix of spot and on-demand instances. This increased reliability of the EKS cluster and reduced EC2 instance utilization cost by 34%.

• Used Helm in the CI/CD pipeline to streamline deployment and manage Kubernetes applications efficiently.
